Nxgen Payment Services will process payments for Veridian Credit Union locations across Iowa, Nxgen announced Feb. 9.

Waterloo, Iowa-based Veridian has $1.9 billion in assets, a member base of 162,000 and 25 locations across Iowa, according to a Nxgen press release announcing the agreement.
Based in Whitefish, Montana, Nxgen operates as a merchant-services provider for Atlanta-based processor Elavon Inc., a unit of U.S. Bancorp.
Because the credit union continues to grow, it needed payment processing from a company that could provide a wide range of services to customers, Tim Lord, Veridian manager of business development, stated in the press release.
