ParkJockey plans to integrate PayByPhone's software into its mobile parking application.
PayByPhone, of Vancouver, British Columbia, will begin using ParkJockey's parking location and reservation software on its mobile-payment app. ParkJockey, in Miami, will use PayByPhone's payments platform in its own mobile app. The partnership will initially focus on the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
“Our goal is to provide consumers with a complete service that helps them find, reserve and pay for parking wherever their travels take them,” Kush Parikh, PayByPhone's chief executive, said in the Dec. 22 release.
The companies did not disclose financial details of the partnership, which will take effect early next year.
