PayItSimple Launches U.K. Installment Payments

PayItSimple USA is expanding its installment payments technology to the U.K.

The company, a unit of Israeli credit card installment provider PayItSimple Ltd, framed the U.K. launch around the success of its U.S. adoption. It launched its U.S. operations last September and expanded its installment payment technology to North American merchants this summer.

"We are very optimistic based on the take up of PayItSimple in the U.S.," Alon Feit, CEO and cofounder of PayItSimple, said in a July 14 press release. "We opted to accelerate our launch in the U.K. based on growing inquiries and demand for the service."  

PayItSimple allows e-commerce and brick-and-mortar merchants to give customers the option to pay for purchases in installments instantly and without interest.

The checkout process is no different for consumers, who provide only their Visa or MasterCard card information. PayItSimple authorizes the full amount of the purchase on the card and schedules the payment collections.
