MasterCard Worldwide has appointed Betty K. DeVita president of its Canadian operations, succeeding Kevin Stanton, whom MasterCard last year named president of its MasterCard Advisors unit. DeVita previously was chairman and CEO of Citibank Canada.
PayPal Inc. has hired Leonard Shen as its chief compliance officer. Shen previously was chief compliance and ethics officer at American Express Co.
