Payroll-services company Payzone will use ACH Federal’s automated clearinghouse processing services to support its small-business customers, ACH Federal announced Jan. 5.
Payzone will use the company’s ACH services to support direct deposits, such as payroll deposits into employee bank accounts. Chattanooga, Tenn.-based ACH Federal says.
Fairfield, Conn.-based Payzone’s direct-debit service, which businesses may use to make tax and other payments, also will ride on the processor’s ACH rails, an ACH Federal spokesperson says.
ACH Federal also announced Dec. 14 that its business processes that handle sensitive data have received SAS 70 Type II certification following an audit by an independent accounting firm. Auditors examined the company’s sales, operations, risk management, customer service, and accounting practices and procedures to ensure controls and safeguards are in place, ACH Federal says.
