London's Powa Technologies and AnywhereCommerce, a mobile payments technology firm based in Montreal, are teaming up to integrate their payment development software.

Using Powa's application program interface (API), developers will now be able to work with AnywhereCommerce's suite of point of sale programs for iOS, Android, and Windows, including its EMV-chip and Near Field Communication products.
With this integration of our toolsets, [independent software developers] can quickly take advantage of a proven end-to-end payment solution without having to develop and support another level of integration, PowaPOS chief executive officer Jeff Dumbrell said in a March 24 press release.
