Tuxedo Money Plus Ltd., a prepaid card provider in the United Kingdom that last week launched its first corporate prepaid card in the UK, expects to distribute 50,000 cards over the next "few months," a Tuxedo spokesperson tells CardLine Global. UK-based Newcastle Building Society issues the MasterCard-branded cards (CardLine Global, 13 Feb.). Consumers have received some 125,000 Tuxedo cards thus far, the spokesperson says. The prepaid corporate cards have chips and require the use of PINs for transactions.
