The payment processor Total System Services (TSYS) has promoted a longtime employee to head up its North America consumer, commercial and health care lines of business.
Keith Pierce, who has worked at TSYS for 30 years, is now the company's executive vice president for relationship management, according to a June 17 press release. His job responsibilities also include supervision of support, client services, risk management solutions and segment revenue planning office for the North America Services segment.
Pierce previously served as a group executive and business leader for the company's commercial cards and payments business. In this role, he led the overall strategic direction and profitability for the commercial business.
TSYS president and chief executive M. Troy Woods said Pierce would fit well in the new, broader position. Pierce "has played a pivotal role in our company's growth for many years, helping make our commercial card business one of the company's best performers," Woods said in the release.
