United Kingdom-based Paymex Group has launched a service that enables consumers with current accounts to receive a MasterCard-branded prepaid card. Paymex claims the service is the first of its kind in the UK but CardLine Global could not immediately confirm that. The scheme, called Evolution, is designed to help consumers "take control of their finances," Paymex says in a statement. Paymex works with Secure Trust Bank to offer the accounts and cards.
