The U.S. Postal Service has selected Cincinnati-based Vantiv, a payment processing service provider, to be its payment service support contractor.
Vantiv will provide payment services, data security, including encryption and tokenization of customer data, and anti-fraud measures to the postal service. Financial terms were not disclosed.
"This contract with the Postal Service is another example of how the strength of Vantiv's omni-commerce solutions, innovative capabilities and service leadership is helping us win new clients," Royal Cole, Vantiv's group president of merchant and financial institutions, said in a press release.
