Cashbox, the United Kingdom-based independent ATM deployer, Tuesday
announced that it signed an agreement to purchase 499 ATMs from Cash4All Ltd.
Cashbox also says it is negotiating with Cash4All to purchase its remaining fleet of
250 ATMs. Cashbox paid $1.8 million for the 499 ATMs, including the sites where
the ATMs currently are located. Cashbox reached an agreement with the lease providers to acquire ownership of the ATMs leased by Cash4All.
Portland, Ore.-based Albina Community Bank recently joined the MoneyPass surcharge- free ATM network, enabling the bank to provide its customers with surcharge-free access to more than 13,000 ATMs nationwide. Albina bank has five
offices and six ATMs.
