Opticard Completes Integration Of ‘Street Savings’ Products
Opticard Payment Services Inc., a gift and loyalty card company, says it has finished integrating text-message mobile marketing products from Street Savings into its programs.
Merchants can use Street Savings to send text messages to customers offering discounts and coupons, says Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Opticard. Street Savings is based in Orange, Calif.
ISO Offers E-Commerce Security
Bank Associates Merchant Services, a Brooklyn, N.Y.-based ISO, is selling e-commerce digital security certificates from VeriSign Inc., the ISO says.
The certificates enable merchants to secure sensitive online payment data. The certificates can trigger a Web browser’s address bar to turn green, signifying the certificate’s encryption of transaction data.
IPayment To Resell RoamPay
IPayment Inc., a Nashville, Tenn.-based payment processor, is reselling Roam Data Inc.’s RoamPay mobile-payment services, Roam Data says.
RoamPay can be loaded onto cellphones and used to accept credit and debit card payments. Boston-based Roam Data says an encrypted card swipe device that plugs into a phone’s audio jack will be available June 1 for Apple Inc.’s iPhone and those devices using Google Inc.’s Android operating systems.
Devices compatible with other cellphone operating systems will be available later this summer, Roam Data says.
RoamPay will be targeted at the smallest of merchants, a Roam Data spokesperson says. Currently, 49 ISOs are reselling Roam Data’s RoamPay, he notes.
