Visa Launches ATM-Locator Service Designed For Tourists

Visa Inc. has launched a service that enables cardholders to use their mobile phones to locate ATMs around the world, a Visa spokesperson tells CardLine Global. The service, which Visa describes as a "valuable tool for tourists," works with any mobile phone. The service is free for cardholders, the spokesperson says. Visa declines to say how many consumers it expects to use the service. Some 1.2 million ATMs in 170 countries accommodate transactions with Visa-branded cards.
