Visa Inc. has  launched a service in Taiwan and China that enables cardholders to use one-time passwords when shopping online. Visa cardholders using the service have one-time passwords sent to their mobile phones via text messages. Cardholders use the passwords when making payments online, adding an additional level of security, Visa says in a statement. Visa says this is the first time it has offered this service anywhere in the world. Visa launched the service with Chinatrust Commercial Bank and China Everbright Bank.
