Wallaby Financial, a company that makes an app to help consumers determine which cards provide the best rewards for each purchase, has agreed to market the Wocket Smart Wallet device to its customers.
The Wocket Smart Wallet is an electronic mobile device stores account details from multiple cards. It uses biometric information to verify a user before writing the account data to a magnetic-stripe card to be used at the point of sale. NXT-ID, an Oxford, Conn. company, makes the device.
"Our customers love the convenience that Wallaby offers them, but the missing piece has been having all their cards available when they need them," Wallaby founder and chief executive Matthew Goldman said in a May 4 release. "We are excited about this partnership with Wocket because it allows our members to carry all of their membership, payment, rewards, gift cards, and more with just a single card."
