White Eagle (Europe) PLC says it has launched its first instant-issue prepaid card. The MasterCard-branded "Freedom Eagle Cash Card" is reloadable. Customers can add up to 650 UK pounds (US$930 or 720 euros) to the card at ATMs, White Eagle says in a statement. UK-based Newcastle Building Society will help issue the card. The card launch is under way in London but eventually will expand across the UK, the statement says without providing details.
