How banks can encourage collaboration among workers stuck at home

Hood Qaim-Maqami has several creative ideas about companies can help employees working from home — even those he jokingly refers to as "Pajama Bottoms" and "Stir Crazies" — to collaborate more easily and be more productive. He shared some of these thoughts in a recent blog. Qaim-Maqami pointed out that with or without a pandemic, there are always people who come into an office, put headphones on and stare at their monitor all day, oblivious to the people and activity around them, so they might as well be working from home. So the challenges of building collaboration and productivity go beyond decisions to let people work from home versus come into an office.
