Sierra of Nevada Names Funk President, CEO
David A. Funk has become president and chief executive of Sierra Bank of Nevada, Reno.
Sierra Bank is part of Sierra Tahoe Bancorp, a Truckee, Calif., holding company that also owns and runs Truckee River Bank.
Mr. Funk, 47, has been a banker in Nevada for 28 years. He came to Sierra Bank from the executive vice presidency of Pioneer Citizens Bank of Nevada, Reno.
He is a past president of the Nevada Bankers Association and the Western Independent Bankers Association and has been a director of the American Bankers Association.
