James M. Quinn, 55, was elected president and a director of National Security Bank, Chicago, a subsidiary of Boulevard Bancorp.
Mr. Quinn will continue as a vice president of Boulevard Bank, another Chicago subsidiary.
The holding company said the change was being made in anticipation of the December retirement of Walter T. McNeely, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of National Security.
Mr. McNeely, 65, will continue as chairman and CEO until his retirement.
Mr. Quinn joined Boulevard Bank in 1958.
