IRWINDALE, Calif. -- Home Savings of America, the nation's largest thrift, said it has completed the acquisition of Coast Federal Bank's eight branches in central California.
The branches have $258 million in total deposits. Four are in Fresno, two in Visalia, and one each in Tulare and Sanger.
Home Savings, a subsidiary of H.F. Ahmanson & Co., signed a definitive agreement with Coast in August.
