ValliCorp-Pacific merger votes put off.

FRESNO, Calif. -- ValliCorp Holdings Inc. said shareholder votes scheduled for Sept. 21 on its proposed merger with Pacific Bancorp. had been postponed.

The Fresno-based companies cited unexpected delays in completting the joint proxy statement.

The board of Pacific, which has $197 million in assets, has rescheduled its annual meeting and merger vote for Nov. 16. The board of $430 million-asset ValliCorp expects to call a special stockholders' meeting at about the same date.
