GREENVILLE, S.C. - Carolina First Corp. will acquire seven branches from Republic National Bank, a unit of Resource Bancshares, subject to regulatory approval.
Terms were not disclosed.
In a press release, Carolina First said it expects to complete the deal by March.
The seven branches, located in South Carolina, have about $120 million in deposits and about $40 million in loans, Carolina First said.
