Collection system offered for PCs.

Automated Design Systems, a Monroe, N.C.-based provider of lending software,

released a PC/LAN system for collection operations at banks, mortgage servicers, and other lenders.

The software can stratify debt into control groups for automatic assignment to collectors, audit and track activities, measure productivity, review on-screen the status of activities, generate reports, and schedule workflow.

The system also uses a Windows feature that allows users to share data with other Windows applications.

For example, a user can have collections data automatically updated in a spreadsheet or word processing file.

The $1.5 billion-asset Bankers Savings Bank of Perth Amboy, N.J., is currently running mortgage accounts on the system, as well as some student loans and home equity accounts.
