Peerless signs up 2 banks for 5 years.

The Stockmen's Bank of Kingman, Ariz., signed a five-year data processing agreement with Peerless Systems Inc., Richardson, Tex.

Under the agreement, Peerless will convert the bank's current data processing operation to Peerless software on the IBM AS/400. The $130 million-asset bank previously used another in-house service provider.

Peerless also signed a five-year data processing agreement with Metairie (La.) Bank and Trust. The bank, which has assets of $250 million, previously handled data processing in-house.
