NEC VOIce LInk for Midsize Firms

A communications system for midsize businesses was introduced by NEC America CPE Group, Dallas. The NEAX2000 Integrated Voice Server merges telephone, fax, electronic mail, and video messaging. Application processors, subsystems, and other automated devices can be attached to the system, increasing its capabilities beyond voice communications to intelligent network links and information processing links.

The system, which can range from 40 to 400 lines, is small enough to be installed with voice mail and local area network hubs.

NEC America Inc., an affiliate of the NEC Corp., develops, manufactures, and markets communications products and software.
