JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- Johnstown Savings Bank said its stockholders have approved a proposal to be acquired by and merged into U.S. National Bank, a subsidiary of US Bancorp.
Approving the plan were 82.2% of Johnstown Savings' total outstanding common shares and 96.8% of the shares voted at a special meeting last week.
The merger is expected to be completed around July 11.
The briefs were compiled from staff and wire reports.
