MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Drexler Technology Corp. announced that it received a $250,000 order from an unnamed customer in the health care industry for the purchase of LaserCard optical memory cards and card reader-writers.
AboUt half of the order was shipped during the second quarter, and the remainder will be delivered by yearend.
The order, from an existing customer, includes 20,000 optical memory cards and more than 50 card reader-writers.
Drexler manufactures LaserCard optical memory cards for consumer, commercial, and government markets.
It's wholly owned subsidiary, LaserCard Systems Corp., develops optical memory card data systems and systems software.
