Michigan's Shoreline Financial posts 9.8% increase in profits.

BENTON BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Shoreline Financial Corp, said it earned $1.7 million, or 35 cents a share, in the second quarter, up 9.8% from $1.6 million, or 32 cents a share, a year ago.

The figures have been restated to reflect the three-for-two stock split distributed in May after Inter-City Bank and Citizens Trust and Savings Bank joined to become Shoreline Bank.

For the first half of 1994, Shoreline's net income was $3,4 million, a 5.3% increase over the $3.2 million earned during the first half of 1993. Earnings per share increased to 67 cents from 65 cents.
