First Fidelity Bancorp., Lawrenceville, N.J., has promoted Jerome D. Greco, its director of public affairs/government, to executive vice president.

Mr. Greco's responsibilities were expanded earlier this year to include management of government-assisted loans, banking services for CRA-related nonprofit organizations, and community-type financing and investment.

The company's flagship, First Fidelity Bank, has named Mark E. Gleason an executive vice president.

Mr. Gleason is assisting in the general management of the bank's Connecticut and New York markets, with specific responsibilities for expanding wholesale and middle-market commercial lending activities.

Mr. Gleason was formerly a managing director of Chemical Securities, a subsidiary of Chemical Bank.
