In Brief: Citi, Bank of Nova Scotia Raise Ornda Credit Line

NASHVILLE - Bank of Nova Scotia and Citicorp have committed to provide a $240 million increase in borrowing capacity for Ornda HealthCorp.

The additional commitments will increase the existing bank facility to $900 million from $660 million, subject to a definitive agreement, Ornda said.

The bank facility would be for general corporate purposes, including strategic acquisitions, the company said.

Currently, the company has $496 million of borrowings and outstanding letters of credit under the bank facility.
