Dauphin Deposit Names Shannon Vice Chairman And Credit Chief

Paul B. Shannon has been promoted to vice chairman and chief credit policy officer of Dauphin Deposit Corp., Harrisburg, Pa.

Also promoted were Dennis L. Dinger, to senior executive vice president, chief fiscal and administrative officer, and assistant treasurer; and Kenneth H. Sallade, to executive vice president and chief investment officer.

Mr. Shannon, who is also president of Dauphin Deposit Bank, principal unit of the parent corporation, is responsible for setting all credit policies, managing loan quality and net yields, and leading the corporate banking group in strategy development.

Mr. Dinger is responsible for overseeing the following departments: human resources, operations information system, asset/liability management, financial operations, and financial reporting. He is also responsible for profit planning, tax management, and investment portfolio management.

Mr. Sallade is responsible for the management of investment portfolios for Dauphin Deposit Bank and the other subsidiaries of the corporation. He is also responsible for overseeing the funds management and treasury departments.
