Short Takes: Scudder Hires Two In Institutional Sales

Scudder, Stevens & Clark Inc. picked up two new marketers for its sales to institutions with assets over $100 million west of the Mississippi.

The New York-based investment manager, which has $100 billion in assets under management, announced this week that it hired Margaret M. Spears and L. Kenneth Brooks as vice presidents in its institutional sales and marketing group. They succeed managing director Victoria Herget and principal Brian Beitner, who were promoted to full-time client management roles.
