Visa U.S.A. and Uniglobe Travel International Inc. announced a multiyear marketing agreement to develop joint promotions, sponsorships, and products for business and leisure travelers.
Uniglobe, a franchiser of travel agencies, will encourage its agents to prompt customers for a Visa card when booking travel arrangements.
The pact will lead to contests and sweepstakes for agencies and their customers, and a cobranded credit card. The initial fall promotion will culminate with a grand prize trip to the Super Bowl.
The Uniglobe network consists of more than 1,000 travel agencies in 13 countries.
