PNC Bank Corp. Names Executive

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

PNC Bank Corp., Pittsburgh, has promoted James G. Graham to executive vice president of corporate banking. He is responsible for large corporate and financial institutions as well as treasury management.

Mr. Graham, who was senior vice president and manager of the treasury management division, joined PNC in 1992 as vice president and marketing manager in treasury management.

Francine Miltenberger succeeded him as manager of the division. Ms. Miltenberger, who remains a senior vice president, is responsible for strategic planning and business development.

PNC also named John F. Fulgoney, a senior counsel, to the additional post of corporate secretary, reporting to general counsel Helen P. Pudin.

He succeeded William F. Stone, who was named managing director of mergers and acquisitions for PNC Capital Markets.

Since 1995, Mr. Fulgoney had been the senior counsel responsible for supporting mergers and acquisitions. Before that he was chief market counsel for PNC Bank's northeast Pennsylvania, Erie, and south-central Pennsylvania markets. He joined the bank in 1991.

Finally, PNC Bank in Wilmington, Del. recruited two CoreStates Financial Corp. executives to be vice presidents in its private banking division.

Frank B. Carpenter 3d became a client development officer, responsible for financial planning for New Castle county customers. He was a vice president and manager in personal trust administration at CoreStates.

David S. Rowe became a manager in the personal trust administration group. He was a vice president and relationship manager in CoreStates' trust division.
