Danvers Savings In Mass. Names Kevin Bottomley Chief Executive

Danvers (Mass.) Savings Bank promoted Kevin T. Bottomley to chief executive officer.

Mr. Bottomley remained president but relinquished the title of chief operating officer. He succeeded James G. Zafris Jr., who assumed the newly created title of chairman of the board.

Mr. Bottomley joined Danvers Savings last year. He had been chief lending officer at Boston Private Bank and Trust Co.

Roger A. Eastman succeeded him as chief operating officer and was also named executive vice president. He joined the bank in 1989 as a senior consultant; he had been a senior partner at Arthur Andersen & Co.
