Home Loan Bank Of Atlanta Names Carol A. Jackson Operations Chief

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta promoted Carol A. Jackson to executive vice president and chief operating officer.

She is now responsible for overseeing information technology and sales and marketing, in addition to her continuing role in community investment, credit, and collateral services.

Ms. Jackson left KPMG Peat Marwick in Birmingham, Ala., to join the bank in 1980 as director of internal auditing. In 1983 she was transferred to the bank's financial and member services division; in 1992 she was promoted to group vice president and in 1993, to senior vice president.
