Tech Bytes: PC Banking Software for Ore. Credit Union

State Employees Credit Union of Raleigh, N.C., has selected Corillian Corp. software for Internet and personal computer banking.

The nation's second-largest credit union, with $5.2 billion of assets and 600,000 members, will use Corillian Voyager software to support account management and transfers over the Web.

The credit union also will employ Corillian's Open Financial Exchange server software, permitting customers who use software such as Intuit Inc.'s Quicken and Microsoft Corp.'s Money to connect to their accounts.

"We liked Corillian's NT server technology, and we liked their willingness to make the product the way we wanted it," said Sue A. Douglass, senior vice president of central services at State Employees Credit Union.
