Shoreline Financial Corp. Names Executive

Shoreline Financial Corp., Benton Harbor, Mich., has promoted James R. Milroy to its presidency and that of its Shoreline Bank subsidiary.

He succeeds Dan L. Smith in those posts, and Mr. Smith continues as chairman and chief executive officer of both the bank and its $1 billion- asset holding company.

Mr. Milroy had been executive vice president and secretary of the holding company as well as senior executive vice president and cashier of Shoreline Bank.

In his new role, he will assume overall responsibility for banking operations as well as seats on the bank and company boards of directors.

Joseph Calvaruso succeeds Mr. Milroy as cashier.

Mr. Milroy joined Shoreline in 1990 as controller from the accounting firm of Crowe, Chizek and Co. He had been a certified public accountant in its Grand Rapids, Mich., office for eight years.
