Comerica Inc. Names Executive

Comerica Inc., Detroit, has promoted James A. Sansoterra, chief investment officer for private banking, from first vice president to senior vice president.

Mr. Sansoterra joined the company in 1968 and has developed and managed investment portfolios for personal and endowment clients.

Separately, Comerica Bank and Trust private banking group in Florida hired William S. DeHaan to be a personal banker and J. West McCann to be a portfolio manager, both in the Naples office.

Mr. DeHaan is to develop and serve existing and new business banking and trust clients. He had worked for BankAmerica Corp.'s NationsBank in Florida and earlier at Waddell & Reed Financial Services. Mr. McCann is to manage equity and fixed-income portfolios. He was a portfolio manager at SouthTrust Bank of Florida.

The private banking group also hired W. Todd Neal to be a client development officer in Boca Raton. Mr. Neal, who has five years of financial services and estate planning experience, was a preferred adviser at Prudential Preferred Financial Services.
