First Federal Bank Names Excutive

WEST of California in Santa Monica has hired Dan Frink and Don Salka as vice presidents in its income-property lending department.

Mr. Frink and Mr. Salka will report to Richard Vidaurri, executive vice president of income property lending.

They will be responsible for loan production for retail, office, industrial, and multifamily properties.

Mr. Frink came from Southern Pacific Bank in Santa Ana, Calif., where he was a senior account executive. Earlier he worked for Universal Savings Bank in Orange, Calif., and Quaker Federal Savings Bank in Whittier, Calif. He has 16 years of commercial lending experience.

Mr. Salka came from Washington Mutual Inc.'s Home Savings of America.

He had opened a branch in west Los Angeles and was a member of the President's Club.

He came to Washington Mutual in 1996, when it bought American Savings and Loan, of which he was a senior vice president. He has 25 years of banking experience.
