Bank of the West Names Executives

Bank of the West in San Francisco has hired Charlotte Gallagher as a senior vice president, construction lending manager.

Ms. Gallagher was a vice president in U.S. Bank's commercial real estate division in Portland, Ore. Earlier she was a senior vice president and regional manger of community lending at U.S. Bank.

She will report to Don Weyant, executive vice president of the real estate industries group.

Bank of the West, owned by BancWest Corp. of Honolulu, also promoted Megan Patton and Cyran B. Morehouse to vice presidencies.

Ms. Patton manages the Larkspur, Calif., branch. She joined the bank seven years ago when it bought her employer, Atlantic Financial Federal Savings Bank. Earlier she worked at Santa Barbara Savings, now owned by Bank of America.

Ms. Morehouse was named manger of Bank of the West's Gateway office in Truckee, Calif., where she had been assistant vice president and customer service manager. She joined the bank seven years ago.
