MasterCard Inc. has rolled out a version of its ATM Hunter mobile application that runs on Research In Motion Ltd.'s BlackBerry mobile phones.

The app, a free download for BlackBerry owners, uses a smart phone's GPS systems to determine the location of the nearest automated teller machine. People without a GPS-enabled BlackBerry can use the app to search a database of ATM locations.

MasterCard already offers a version for Apple Inc.'s iPhone.
