The $332 million-asset company's new name was approved by shareholders in April.
It now shares a brand with its subsidiary, Premier Community Bank, which changed its name from Columbia Community Bank in December.
"It is important that our holding company and bank name mirror one another and that we differentiate ourselves from other financial institutions and businesses in the marketplace that use 'Columbia' as part of their name," Rick A. Roby, Premier's president and chief executive, said in a news release Monday.
Premier Community Bank operates four branches in the western suburbs of Portland, Ore.
