Lake City Bank in Warsaw, Ind., is planning to add three Indianapolis branch locations in roughly the next 15 months.
The $3.4 billion-asset financial institution said Tuesday that it will open two branches in Indianapolis over the next two quarters. Furthermore, the company is finalizing the site-selection process for another branch there which is expected to open for business in early 2016. That would give it five in Indianapolis in total.
Lake City launched its first Indianapolis branch in 2011 and opened a second branch there earlier this year. Since entering the Indianapolis market, the company has built deposits to $140 million and has invested more than $200 million in commercial loans for economic expansion, David Findlay, the president and chief executive of Lake City Bank, said in a news release.
"The Indianapolis market has been a great next step for Lake City Bank as we continue our growth," Findlay said.
Lake City operates 46 branch offices in northern and central Indiana.
