Texas Capital hires Deutsche Bank escrow team

Texas Capital Bancshares in Dallas has formed an escrow division after hiring a team from Deutsche Bank.

The $28.3 billion-asset company said in a Tuesday press release that it has started working with clients that need to hold securities or other assets in escrow. Texas Capital, which plans to expand the business nationwide, said it will work with commercial clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, entertainment and art.

The new division is based in New York and will support activities such as mergers and acquisitions, litigation and other settlements. Texas Capital said it hired three executives from Deutsche Bank who had worked together for more than 15 years.

“Our team is comprised of trusted advisers who are invested in the success of each and every transaction,” Keith Cargill, Texas Capital's president and CEO, said in the release. “When a client works with our escrow division team, they get a knowledgeable agent with experience in virtually every industry to create individualized business solutions tailored to our client’s specific needs.”

The escrow division is being run by Christina Van-Ryzin, Bryan Gartenberg and Aldrin Bayne.

The company said that each banker has relationships in industries such as energy, power, infrastructure, technology and litigation.
