Edward Adelman

Executive Director

Mr. Adelman is a registered Architect and has planned, designed, and managed the construction and operation of institutional facilities for 30+ years. In 2002, he was appointed the Director of Capital Projects for the Massachusetts State College Building Authority; in 2005, he was designated its Executive Director. The MSCBA (Moody's Aa2; S&P AA-) receives no appropriation or bond guarantee from the Commonwealth; all project costs (debt service, operations, reserves) are funded by project revenues (principally student housing fees). Mr. Adelman's prior work includes the construction, renovation, and management of higher education facilities at Babson College, Brandeis University, and Salem State College and the restoration and adaptive use of historic properties for the National Park Service in Lowell, MA, Washington, DC, and Cleveland, OH. He earned the Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and the Master of Architecture degree from Kent State University.
