John Dunnery

John Dunnery is a Director with Fannie Mae’s National Servicing Organization. He is responsible for $152bl in residential mortgage loan performance and associated credit losses spread among four of Fannie Mae’s largest loan servicers. He also manages a staff of Fannie Mae servicing specialists placed onsite at each servicer. John previously held the position of Portfolio Servicing Manager with Arch Bay Capital, a buyer of performing and distressed mortgages. Prior to that position, he was Default Servicing Manager for HomEq Servicing.John’s industry focus has been on developing improved loan servicing processes to drive effectiveness and efficiency; and, implementing new business models that expand capability and capacity at lower costs. John’s professional experience covers a span of nearly 25 years encompassing time as a trial lawyer, professor and positions with start-up companies to leading positions within the mortgage industry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa.
