Nigel Codrington

Nigel has been working with leading card issuers and payment providers in Canada since 2000. He is recognized within the card payment industry as an innovation leader having worked in the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA for payment clients including Telcos, the payment brands, retailers and issuers. He led the initiative to establish the Canadian chip migration business requirements bringing together multiple industry stakeholders. As a consultant, Nigel has worked with banks on their successful chip migration programs for debit, credit and contactless payments as well as with merchants on the store side of EMV implementation. He has broad multi-industry payment experience and a thorough understanding of EMV from the nuts and bolts up to the strategic level.
