Toys for Tots at Sharonview
Staff and members at Sharonview FCU in Fort Mill, S.C. donated enough toys for Toys for Tots to fill three vans. The credit union partnered with a local TV station to help provide holiday cheer for kids throughout the greater Charlotte, N.C. region.
More Toys for Tots
Tidemark FCU and the MD-DC-VA chapter of the Coca-Cola Collector’s Club joined forces to collect toys for Toys for Tots, benefitting youngsters during the holidays.
Royal CU helps keep the holidays merry
Royal Credit Union branches collected more than 600 toys for local families in need in partnership with the Salvation Army to benefit the nonprofit’s annual “Giving Never Melts Away” toy drive.

Stopping hunger for the holidays
Maine-based Town & Country FCU contributed to The Locker Project with a donation to fund 500 backpacks filled with food for needy families. The gift is intended to help fight food insecurity during the holiday season. The 500 backpacks from the credit union represent over 60% of all backpacks The Locker Project will provide this season.
BECU recognizes 'People Helping People'
BECU awarded 18 local organizations grants as part of its “People Helping People” awards, giving monetary gifts ranging from $19,400 to $54,000 to area nonprofits.
Canine companions
Hanscom FCU presented its annual Board Memorial Award to America’s VetDogs, which places service dogs and guide dogs with disabled veterans, active-duty service members and first responders. The award includes a $1,500 grant.

Toilet paper donation
First New York FCU collected more than 11,000 rolls of toilet paper and 3,000 rolls of paper towels to be shared with Catholic Charities Tri-County Services to benefit the needy this holiday season.
Giving big for Giving Tuesday
Members First Credit Union celebrated its 70th anniversary and marked Giving Tuesday by donating more than $19,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire, Granite State Independent living and Honor Flight new England.
Andigo supports the disabled
Andigo Credit Union in Schaumburg, Ill. Donated $5,000 to Clearbrook, a nonprofit providing services to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
