1st Advantage FCU Celebrates 60 Years With $60,000 In Grants

YORKTOWN, Va. – In honor of its 60th Anniversary, 1st Advantage FCU is donating $60,000 to six organizations that make a positive impact to people in its community.

The organizations are: Habitat for Humanity, Operation Homefront, The Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula, Relay for Life, Boys and Girls Club, and Fisher House Foundation.

“Our $60,000 donation is a fantastic opportunity for 1A to help raise the overall level of social and economic well-being of those in our community, help strengthen ties within the community and better position us to reach out and serve,” said Casey Duplantier, president of the $500 million credit union.
